Alexandre Prot, Co-Founder and CEO of Qonto, will speak at this year’s EU-Startups Summit!

On April 20-21 we’ll be hosting this year’s EU-Startups Summit in Barcelona! Our annual flagship event will gather over 2,000 founders, startup enthusiasts and investors for two exciting days of networking, inspiration and learning. And we can’t wait to welcome you there.

In addition to a buzzing exhibition hall, great networking opportunities, and an exciting pitch competition, we’ll also have two stages where you’ll be able to learn from over 70 speakers and listen to educational and inspiring talks by internationally successful founders.

We’re very excited to share that Alexandre Prot, the Co-Founder and CEO of fintech unicorn Qonto will join us for an unmissable fireside chat!

Leading the Paris-based company to unicorn status, with a valuation of over €4.4 billion, Alexandre will join us to chat about his entrepreneurial journey and share insights from his experience growing Qonto into one of Europe’s hottest unicorns.

Alexandre began his career with Goldman Sachs and McKinsey & Company, before founding his first venture Smok.io in 2013. It was this experience that led him to understand the obstacles and daily frustrations with business banking – pushing him to embark on a new business venture that would become Qonto. Now serving 350k clients in 4 countries, Qonto is a business finance solution that energizes SMEs and freelancers. Alexandre was a speaker on our Future of Finance panel at the 2019 EU-Startups Summit, and we can’t wait to welcome him to Barcelona this year to learn more from him.

Founded in 2016, Qonto is one of France’s big fintech success stories. It secured €486 million in 2022, raised one of the largest funding rounds for a French fintech ever back in 2020, and has represented a new era of fintech innovation for Europe since its launch. The company offers three different products neatly packaged into one single service. It enables businesses to move money around, simplifies bookkeeping and accounting, and provides a total spend management solution. To date, the company has raised €622 million.

Make sure to secure your ticket today and join us there. To learn more about the event, and the other wonderful speakers taking part, check out our dedicated event page, and enjoy the video below, which will give you some insights into what’s to come.
