Tamaz Georgadze, CEO & Co-founder of Raisin, will speak at the EU-Startups Summit about building tech giants in Europe!

On the 28th-30th of April, we’re hosting the 7th edition of the EU-Startups Summit – this year as an online event. This 3-day event will give you the chance to (virtually) connect and network with over 1,500 participants, learn from around 70 expert speakers, listen to educational talks with internationally successful founders, and bite your nails through our exciting pitch competition.

Today we are excited to announce a new speaker: Tamaz Georgadze, CEO and co-founder of Raisin. At the EU-Startups Summit, he will join us to share his insights from growing Raisin into one of the leading (and best funded) fintech companies in Europe.

Tamaz co-founded Raisin in 2012 with Michael Stephan and Frank Freund, and has since grown it into the leading pan-European deposit marketplace. Raisin connects retail investors and savers with financial institutions looking to expand or diversify their deposit reach. In addition to being available across Europe in multiple languages, in 2020 Raisin launched a savings-as-a-service branch in the US, providing now 90+ partner banks easy and scalable access to alternative funding pools at low and variable cost. Raisin has raised over €195 million, has nabbed the spot as the #1 online marketplace for term deposits worldwide with more than 250,000 satisfied customers and exceeded €22 billion in deposits invested via the Raisin platforms. Quite the achievement!

At the EU-Startups Summit, Tamaz will join us to share his experience of growing Raisin into market leading fintech company, and of expanding across European borders and the Atlantic ocean.

If you would like to check out this talk (and many others), plus meet 1,500+ startup players during the EU-Startups Summit, make sure to secure your ticket now!

More info can also be found here (page will be updated on a weekly basis). We look forward to seeing you online!
