You will lead the planning and implementation to achieve vertical start-up in a project in chocolate production. You will ensure our manufacturing strategy is implemented and is fully effective and you will strive to build a high performing organization.

How you will contribute

  • Lead Vertical Start-Up Team on the delivery of successful CQV / TT&T. Coordinate activities with RDQ, Engineering, Planning and other relevant cross-functions. Create benchmark platforms with CBA plant. Involve Suppliers to align with CQV Plan including start-up details.
  • Support the Manufacturing annual operational plans and targets to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Engagement goals in line with the site Compelling business need.
  • Create VSU & Lean Project Management Culture within the team. Engage crossfunctions for the start-up activities
  • Becomes familiar with the project and collect preliminary information to begin developing the start-up plan and develop team charter and team communication in place

Start-Up Implementation Strategy

  • Identify start-up implementation strategy, obtain approval and begin to develop startup plans.
  • Ensure that current operation assessment is developed and implemented.
  • Ensure that a process for change management and reapplication of learnings is developed and used.
  • Ensure an issue identification & resolution process is developed and used.
  • Provide direction, consistency and focus.
  • Provide training and coaching on start-up processes.
  • Build capability within the team on Global Standard CQV template and content.

Criteria and Start-Up Glide Paths

  • Define the project’s criteria and start-up glide path and obtain approval from management.
  • Attend Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for key equipment.

Commissioning Plan

Ensure that:

  • Success Criteria are agreed (PQCDSM & VSU).
  • Pre-Commissioning Plan is developed.
  • CTPs/CTQs are identified and agreed within the team.
  • Duration of runs and products with all perquisites are defined.
  • Activity Mapping Matrix is built for Pre-Commissioning.
  • Activity Mapping Matrix is built for Commissioning
  • Define the project’s criteria and start-up glide path and obtain approval from management.
  • Attend Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for key equipment

Qualification Plan

Ensure that:

  • Qualification on I2M / IIM
  • It is a pre-requisite that all Project Leads and VSU Leads be qualified on I2M & IIM.
  • Success Criteria are agreed (PQCDSM & VSU).
  • Duration of runs and products with all perquisites are defined.
  • Activity Mapping Matrix is built for Qualification.
  • Site Specific Risks are evaluated and actions initiated.
  • Equipment & Quality FMEA is attended.
  • Site Acceptance Test (SAT) is attended.

Verification Plan

Ensure that:

  • Success Criteria are agreed (PQCDSM & VSU)
  • Duration of runs and products with all perquisites are defined.

TT&T Plan

Ensure that:

  • TT&T Plan is developed and following Global Standards.
  • Hiring strategy is identified.
  • Roles and Responsibilities are clear.
  • Materials Plan: Supplier(s) Material Quality and Quantity Plans are developed and aligned with start-up requirements

Also...

  • Ensure that Start-Up Planning and Implementation Schedules are developed and Resource Allocation Plan is developed.
  • Ensure that Planning and Implementation Measures and Results reporting is developed and used and that project team is aligned on how vertical start-up will be measured.
  • Ensure that start-up budget is developed and approved.

  • Manufacturing experience (i.e. process, continuous improvement, maintenance, line leadership roles, etc)
  • Qualified on the I2M / IIM Process
  • Leading and directing others.
  • Understands and is trained on some key pillars as IIM, AM, and PM.

  • Strong operational & manufacturing leadership experience in FMCG industry with experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment. Demonstrated abilities in Analytics, problem solving and team building.

  • Strong operational & manufacturing leadership experience in CPG industry with experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment. Demonstrated abilities in Analytics, problem solving and team building
  • An Engineer with a strong financial & business acumen, project management skills and Knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.

The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland.

No Relocation support available, however for candidates voluntarily moving internationally some minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy
