We are working with a mission-driven sustainability tech start-up who, having successfully scaled the business, are now looking for a Uk Operations Director to work closely with the Founder and CEO and drive the operational heartbeat of the business.

What you’ll be doing : -

• You will play one of the most pivotal roles in the UK business and so this role will require great leadership, excellent project management skills and a determination to solve complex problems and get things done.
• You will lead a diverse team across sourcing, production and logistics, quality control to help build and advance sustainable supply chains in the UK.
• You will be in charge of defining mission and strategy for your team.
• You’ll collaborate with international and cross-functional teams working closely with Sales, Product, Engineering and other business units to ensure alignment with the company vision.
• You will conduct experiments to address challenges fostering a culture of curiosity and problem-solving.
• You’ll engage with local regulatory stakeholders in the manufacturing and supply-chain ecosystem.

What we are looking for : -

• You will need 8+ years of experience in business management covering ops, strategy and technology.
• Tech start-up exposure is important as is P&L ownership.
• You'll have experience running the end-to-end supply chain of physical products both domestically and internationally.
• You’ll have a data-driven mindset and strong business judgement able to make value-driven decisions.
• You will have proven Project Management skills working with stakeholders of all levels.
• A passion for sustainability is very important, you must be aligned with the mission.
