Job Overview

At draftLine, the Resourcing team is the main point of contact for all resource requirements placed on the business, responsible for leading the internal agency workflow, defining process & organization and ensuring the highest quality of output.

Our ideal Traffic Manager must be able to use their judgement and skill to ensure the teams deliver work on time.

The role will be to manage the day-to-day workflow of Creative (Copywriters, Art Directors, Designers and Artworkers) and Production (Editors and Animators).

You need to have experience with trafficking a fast paced and large team as well as be someone who works and communicates well in a team.

You will also need to be confident and personable as you will be required to conduct daily stand ups, communicate with Creative Directors on decisions, run resource meetings and be able to influence others to ensure that processes are adhered to and to bring about the most efficient way of working.

We would love you to :

  • Manage the day-to-day workflow of the Creative and Production team, ensuring work is delivered on schedule and on budget.
  • Use your knowledge to place the right people on the right jobs according to their skillset / abilities to ensure consistency of resource.

Full understanding creatively of briefs and what resources are required creatively to execute briefings.

  • Lead daily stand ups - go over bookings, check hours allocated and manage any ad hoc queries or problems flagged.
  • Keep the Creative and Production schedules up to date with accurate jobs, hours and relevant information.
  • Manage Creative and Production diaries - putting in brief, debrief and WIP meetings.
  • Work closely with the Project Managers to ensure all resource booking requests have estimated hours and can be afforded.
  • Update and communicate changes in work requested / allocation of briefs to all stakeholders.
  • Run weekly resource meetings with Creative Directors and Project Managers to define all upcoming work requirements.
  • Work with all teams on timesheet completion.
  • Ensure freelancers in particular follow internal processes, getting work signed off and completing timesheets.
  • Support across wider operational requirements.
  • Champion, uphold and seek to continually improve our processes.

Skills and Experience

Skills :

  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy on all work activities.
  • Ability to adapt to and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Confident working with people at all levels.
  • A strong team player who can develop trusted relationships between internal teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, take initiative, solve problems and have excellent time management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Start-up mindset with a can do' attitude.

Experience :

  • Previous experience working directly in Traffic, Studio or Resource management either agency side or in-house.
  • A good understanding of the Creative process from concept to Production and how this integrates into the overall delivery process.
  • Experience working with Project Management tool Workfront is advantageous.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office / document sharing (e.g., Excel, SharePoint).
  • Fluent English language (written and spoken).
