Your responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing innovative product solutions, from concept to market in the field of image processing / AI for soft- and hardware
  • Coordinating relevant development tasks between eseidon and external partners
  • Analysing and specifying components (camera technology, lighting, technical design, dimensions and tolerances)

Desired characteristics:

  • Minimum 3 semesters into your studies, including experience in the field of image processing and artificial intelligence
  • Prior knowledge of Python and OpenCV and an interest in hardware development
  • Motivation and dedication to your work – whether that may be in a team or single setting
  • Structured method of working, analytical thinking and a ‘hands-on’ mentality
  • Good English and/or German knowledge
  • Prior work experience (ideally, but not necessary)

About us:

Eseidon is an early-stage Start-up based in Dortmund, aiming to revolutionise aquaculture through artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. We are developing a sorting machine to increase aquaculture efficiency by up to 125% through the separation of live fish, shrimp and crayfish. This will, in turn, not only save over 3 million tonnes of CO2, but also reinforce our path to a future of sustainable fish farming.
