Test Engineer INNOVATE EVERYDAY: Tandem Diabetes Care Switzerland is developing Sigi&trade a next-generation insulin that will offer additional treatment options for people with diabetes. A DAY IN THE LIFE: Working from Tandem Diabetes Care Switzerlands office onsite in Switzerland, you'll... Develops and executes hardware test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various components. Identifies defects and reports them to the development team for resolution. Develops and maintains automated test suites for hardware products. Develops and maintains test fixtures and test equipment. Architects, prototypes, and integrates end to end hardware and software test solutions for hardware verification.
Works in collaboration with ME, EE, SW and FW teams to ensure seamless integration with new prototype hardware. Works with Technicians to build prototypes, install new systems, and executes tests on existing tests stations. Performs Root Cause Analysis on equipment and test article failures. Commissions and debugs new test equipment. Documents test reports.
YOU'RE AWESOME AT:
1. Knowledge, skills & abilities: Committed to finding the most appropriate tests and test methods. Solid experience in measurement techniques and their implementation. Meticulous, rigorous, systematic and reliable. Comfortable working autonomously and also as a team player. Fluency in English (written and spoken) required, fluency in French (spoken) strongly preferred.
2. Minimum certifications/educational level: Masters degree in Microengineering, Electronics or relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and years of applicable experience.
3. Minimum experience: 2 years experience in the field of medical device testing or in a related area. Experience with a multitude of laboratory test equipment. Experience with LabVIEW and National Instruments Data Acquisition Hardware. Experience with embedded computing. Data acquisition tools, e.g. oscilloscopes, weighing balances.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or C/C++. Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks. Demonstrated experience in writing test protocols and reports. Experience in microfluidic testing is a plus. Experience working in an ISO 13485 environment is a plus.
