Technical Lead to startup in the experience and tourism industry

Who are we?
StoryTourist is a GPS enabled travel app that turn books, movies and other types of culture into treasure hunts out in the real world, inviting tourists to step into the story and visit the places where their favourite stories are set.
We are a growing startup, with offices at the business incubator Minc in Malmö – a great place to meet likeminded people. We have launched the StoryTourist app with a Sherlock Holmes tour in London and have many exciting new StoryTours in the making, both in Sweden and internationally.
As a technical lead you will be responsible for the technical development, instructing the technical staff, develop new functions for the application, maintaining and improving existing code, making changes according to user feedback etc.

…working in Unity (C#)
… native development for Android and iPhone (C++, Objective-C, Java)
…leading teams and making strategic decisions
A keen eye for design and graphics is a bonus. Swedish skills are a plus, English is essential.

You are great at collaborating with others and at communicating about your area of expertise and the decisions you make. Your daily tasks will include:
- Lead and collaborate with the technical team, in house as well as with consultants
- Plan, handle and estimate the technical scope of the project before, during and after shipping
- Create and review code
- Support project management with technical solutions
- Identify possible roadblocks as well as new opportunities and suggest alternative solutions
- Partake in customer relations concerning technical solutions
