We’re looking for a Technical Lead to join a growing start-up based in London.

We are looking for someone who is looking to work for a tech for good business and is on board with the mission.

The Technical Lead will need to be excited by the ups and downs of start-up life and be adaptable to new ways of working.

What you will be doing

The Technical Lead will own the technical development strategy of the software platform and work very closely with a small team of engineers, as well as the wider teams within the business.

We are looking for someone with new and modern ideas as the business moved into the next phase of growth.

You will remain hands-on whilst being heavily involved in the development strategy and direction of the development team.

What experience you will need :

  • Previous experience in a senior engineering role.
  • Strong leadership skills, coaching, mentoring, and growing a team.
  • Keen problem solver and able to develop new strategies.
  • Strong commercial programming skills (Python, Java, Flutter, GCP).
  • Knowledge of / experience with AWS.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keen to explore new technologies that will benefit the business
  • Self-motivated and resourceful.
  • Able to adapt to the needs of the business.
