Job description
We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Abu Dhabi for a : Sr. Operator (Offshore)
Job Purpose
This is an opportunity for you to be responsible, be In-charge of and supervises the activities of Operators and commissioning and startup personnel in implementation of the program and instructions ensuring that all offshore operational plant is running safely and efficiently.
Your main duties will be to :
- Directs and supervises the assigned operators in the adjustment and balancing of process for changes in process variables.
- Instruct and guide operators for regular checking of all plants areas.
- Monitors and controls the activities of all plants through the Distributed Control System.
- Checks all plants operating parameters, detects abnormalities and takes immediate remedial actions.
Profile
Ideally, you will have a Degree in engineering discipline from a recognized university with 10 experience in execution of Commissioning & startup activities for a offshore facility
You will have a minimum of 05 years' proven experience working in a similar role
You will preferably have previous work experience in GCC country. Experience working in UAE Offshore is advantage.
You will have proven experience in Safety precautions and occupational hazards in the use of equipment; safe work methods and practices.
You will have a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in industry commissioning software and systems and advance skills in Microsoft Office.
You will need excellent communication and presentation skills in English both written and verbal in English.
