Can you nail our event attendee experience?
We are looking for a skilled JavaScript / TypeScript Developer (m / f / d) to join our front-end team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the guest registration and virtual event platform experience of our event management software.
You will be able to design and build modern user interface components to enhance the usability for thousands of our event attendees.
What you’ll be doing
Integrating functionalities and third-party applications (e.g. video streaming, conferences, maps, chats, schedules, speaker representations) to create a customizable event experience our customers and their attendees love to use
Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications
Reviewing application requirements and interface designs
Identifying web-based user interactions
Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using react or similar concepts
Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes
Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts
Help us evaluate which new functionalities we can add to our event attendee experience, how we can integrate them, make them customizable for our customers and deliver them in a fast and reliable way
What we expect
Min. of 2-3 years of experience in JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML / CSS and Git
Previous experience working with react.js, Web Components or other JavaScript frontend technologies
Experience with user interface design and an affinity for UX and usability
Knowledge of browser-based debugging
Ability to work in an independent way and drive projects
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate efficiently
Fluent in English, German is a plus (we also support you by sponsoring language classes)
What’s a plus
Experience with one or some of these technologies/techniques:
Kubernetes / Docker, Database NoSQL or SQL, NodeJS, React Native, Figma, Testing
