    Your mission:
    With our world-class solid-state LiDAR, we will revolutionize not only the autonomous driving but find innovative solutions for several other use-cases and scenarios. As wide as the application area is as versatile is the Blickfeld team. As Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) you will complete our team of experienced professionals and will be the significant counterpart and reliable partner for all other engineering teams. With your help, our LiDAR will be easy to use and our internal and end user software will work smoothly.

    Your tasks:
    ⟋  Build end user applications to configure and control our LiDAR
    ⟋  Build a LiDAR cloud service for processing point cloud data centrally
    ⟋  Design and implement customer facing remote APIs
    ⟋  Design and implement tools to automate production
    ⟋  Design and implement a GUI-based customer framework for building object recognition systems
    ⟋  Work on software architecture and help project management to create realistic project plans
    ⟋  As a senior engineer, be the go-to guy for our software team and support other engineers, interns and students with advice and guidance

    Your profile:
    ⟋ You have a master degree in Computer Science, Informatics or equivalent
    ⟋ You have at least three years of relevant industry working experience or equivalent
    ⟋ You have expert-level knowledge of C++, especially C++11, C++14, open source tools and library landscape
    ⟋ You have strong knowledge of Python and its library landscape
    ⟋ You have experience with database design and SQL
    ⟋ Ideally, you have experience with automotive standards, e.g. ISO/IEC 15504 (ASPICE) and ISO26262 and coding standards such as Autosar C++ and Misra C
    ⟋ Ideally, you have experience with image or point cloud processing and ROS
    ⟋ You have good communication skills in English (verbal, written)
