    What it is about

     

    We have a challenge: Fashion Cloud wants to grow in Italy! The journey will likely start from January 2021!

     

    Do you enjoy making life easier for other people, especially the fashion industry? Do you like innovation and would like to support the industry to become more digital?

    We are looking for a Sales person who helps us entering the Italian market. A big and important move. Fashion Cloud is Europe’s biggest platform where brands and retailers collaborate and trade. We currently work with more than 450 suppliers and 10.000 retailers. Let's grow that number across borders - join our great tech startup with offices in Amsterdam and Hamburg!

     

    What to expect

     

    • You are going to make Fashion Cloud famous in Italy in two steps:
      Firstly, you start as a freelancer. You open doors for one of our co-founders who is currently doing Sales in the Netherlands and already took first steps into the Italian market with our agent.
      Secondly, you already do independent sales: You visit retailers and (mostly) brands throughout the country and attract them for our products.
    • Being part of our international sales team you’ll be in touch with your colleagues in Amsterdam, Hamburg, Belgium and Denmark (also France soon!) on a regular basis.
    • Inspire the country’s retailers to use our products for smoother order-processes - for example Clara, our free-of-cost order app for the shopfloor.
    • Also, we want to add more Italian brands to Fashion Cloud. Because one thing is for sure: The glamorous fashion of this country is well-known and star of so many retailers in Europe!
    • Practically a mix of: using your network, meetings, cold calling, mailing, events – whatever it takes to get them on board.
    • High quality technology that you can easily navigate the customers through.

     

    That’s what you bring to the table

     

    Of course you might know better, but we’ll share some thoughts:

    • You live in Italy and you are looking forward to get around to meet potential customers in the fashion-hotspots of the country.
    • Closing deals boosts your motivation.
    • What we also think is very important: You have a strong network in Italy – you know various fashion suppliers on decision maker level.
    • You have a lot of energy and fancy the industry.
    • You are persistent - giving up is not your thing.
    • You are a strong communicator and always looking for a win-win.
    • You get along with new technology and programs well (don’t worry, none of our Sales people studied Computer Science).
    • You laugh, at least twice, daily.
    • A CV and Cover Letter for us in English (the whole application process will be in English, too). But of course your mother tongue is Italian or you speak it on a native level.
