About the position

AIKO is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager specializing in B2B SaaS to join our rapidly growing team.

As a Senior Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the expansion of our software solutions within the space exploration sector.

You will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and closing high-value B2B SaaS deals with key stakeholders in the space industry.

Tasks:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the space exploration sector.
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts and prospects within the space industry, including space agencies, aerospace companies, and satellite manufacturers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at prospective client organizations.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and solution presentations to articulate the value proposition of AIKO's automation software for space missions.
  • Collaborate closely with the product development and marketing teams to gather market insights, refine sales strategies, and optimize product positioning.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closure, ensuring a seamless transition to the implementation and customer success teams.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in space exploration to effectively position AIKO's solutions in the market.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in B2B SaaS sales, preferably within the aerospace or technology industries.
  • Demonstrated experience selling complex software solutions to enterprise clients, with a focus on building long-term relationships and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of software sales practices, business models, pricing strategies and contractual frameworks
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • A self-motivated and resourceful individual with a passion for innovation and space exploration.

Preferred Experience:

  • Understanding of the space industry, including knowledge of space missions, satellite operations, and spacecraft systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with product management and project management teams

Salary for the role: 50-70K Euro + Sales Incentive

  • 1st Stage: Interview with our People & Talent
  • 2nd Stage: Interview with the Board
  • 3rd Stage: Technical step (Offline / Online Business Case) and further video call to discuss it
