    Senior Robotics Engineer

    The Role

    We are looking for a talented mechanical / hardware engineer with practical experience to ready our prototypes for production. You will work closely with your software colleagues to develop and test novel designs and concepts along the way to meet customer requirements.

    £45k – £50k based on experience + excellent equity package. Based in London, UK.

    Responsibilities
    • Lead on the design of mechanical hardware
    • Oversee development and improvements of electronics
    • Ready prototypes for production and delivery to customers
    • Lead the logistics of production: talk to suppliers, manufacturers, own the BoM
    • Anything else you believe and convince the team is necessary
    Requirements
    • Very fluent with CAD (Solidworks, Fusion 360)
    • Experience with part fabrication, CNC, manufacturing drawings
    • Graduate in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical or related field
    • Excellent knowledge of mechanical design first principles
    • Experience in the design of complex mechanisms
    Highly Desirable
    • Hands on electronic design experience
    • Experience in the design and development of robotic equipment
    • Programming experience (high level or embedded)
    • Hands-on workshop fabrication experience
    • Experience with Design for Manufacturing
    • Experience of designing for assembly, designing mock-ups
    • Experience with SLS or other 3D printing technologies
