iOmx is a young, dynamic start-up in the field of immuno-oncology located in Martinsried / Munich, Germany. We are focused on innovation-driven research to advance our proprietary early stage novel immune-checkpoint molecules through pre-clinical and clinical development. We are looking for highly motivated, self-driven and competent colleagues who share our vision and wish to contribute to translating this vision into reality. You will Further strengthen our pre-clinical pharmacology and biomarker development team by contributing to the pre-clinical research and development of novel immune-checkpoint inhibitors and Their transition towards clinical development. As a member of our team, you will report to the Group Leader. Your tasks include: Design and implementation of cell-based assays to analyze the pharmacological impact of novel immune-checkpoint inhibitors on primary immune cells and tumor cells using various immunological and cell-based assays Detailed analysis of primary immune cell (lymphoid and myeloid) subsets, their activation and function using flow cytometry and other advanced immunological assays Design, implementation and qualification of in vitro and ex vivo cell-based and cell-free biomarker assays Perform routine culture and expansion of primary immune cells, tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes and tumor cell cultures Careful documentation as well as presentation of your results in internal team meetings You hold a degree in biology, biotechnology or related fields, or have a completed vocational training as laboratory assistant such as BTA, MTA, CTA or equivalent with 4+ years of industry experience You have profound knowledge in tumor biology and immunology You have hands-on experience in immune cell (lymphoid and myeloid) functional assays (cytotoxicity assays, cytokine analysis, polarization assays, mixed lymphoid reaction assays, etc.) You are experienced in cell biology (isolation and cultivation of primary cells and cell lines, proliferation assays) and immunological techniques (eg ELISA, bead-based multiplex assays, flow cytometry, western blot, etc.) You are proficient with MS Office, FlowJo and GraphPad Prism You are fluent in English (spoken and written) You are a highly motivated, flexible and creative individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is effective at working in a collaborative and diverse team We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
