SENIOR iOS DEVELOPER
Full-time position, in Munich, starting as soon as possible
nello’s mission is to simplify urban life. We do that by enabling keyless access for residents and service providers to apartment buildings. We started of with a smart home device, called nello one, which is an upgrade for your existing intercom unit that you control via the nello app. The b2c product has been on the market for over 1 year now and we are now entering development partnerships with intercom manufacturers.
We began our story successfully on Kickstarter and became one of the very few successful German Smart Home startups. We raised more than 3.5m EUR venture capital and plan to become profitable soon. As the app is the corner stone of what the user experiences, we want to grow our team by one person who wants to join our journey.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Take full responsibility and ownership of the nello iOS app
- Keep building and shaping an app that users love and use daily
- Work in close collaboration with an interdisciplinary and international team
- Try out new technologies, enjoy your creative leeway and shape the future of our company
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years of native iOS app development experience (Swift)
- University degree in (media) computer science or equivalent
- Experience with Xcode, CocoaPods, RESTful APIs and VCS (Git)
- Good understanding of basic algorithms and data structures, object oriented concepts and design patterns.
- Good understanding of ViewController life cycles, Location Services, Push Notifications, User permissions and Persistence
- Understanding of patterns used by the CocoaTouch – MVC/ Delegate / KVO etc.
- Entrepreneurial way of thinking and willingness to take on responsibility
- Passion and curiosity for innovative technologies, products and processes
- Fluency in English
