PagoNxt is looking for a Senior Information Security Engineer.
Area: Merchant Solutions
Location: Munich

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- The Information Security Engineer supports and governs the product lines and other internal customer with security specific solutions, network oriented solutions as well as maintains local Information Security Gateways and appliances in on-premises and public cloud deployments.
- Maintain and evolve all elements of the cryptographic and special purpose security infrastructure (Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, VPN, web application firewalls and other network security appliances, PKI including certificate life cycle management).
- Evaluate and introduce state-of-the-art technical security solutions in order to meet new and upcoming business requirements or eliminate identified technical debt.
- Actively participate or drive VPN connectivity processes with external or internal parties.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of policies, standards and processes in the area of network security management.
- Support other (i.e. non-crypto) security related core processes of our team (i.e. Security Approvals) including on-call duty.
- Support audit activities in the area of network security management.
- Consult the business units for all processes and technical solutions in your area of duties in close alignment with other internal security functions.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in a similar position
EDUCATION
- Proven degree of education in IT (university and/or relevant certifications)
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Working knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux, Windows), databases and of networking fundamentals (switching, routing, load-balancing, firewalling) as well as basic Cloud implementation experience.
- Proven experience with Web Application Firewalls (Akamai) and Checkpoint and Palo Alto technologies.
- Proven experience with dynamic routing protocols, especially Bordering Gateway Protocol
- Good understanding of virtualization and software-defined data center concepts.
- Information Security related certifications (e.g. SSCP, CISSP) (desirable).
- Basic knowledge of frameworks and security standards such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS and ISAE 3402. (desirable).
- Written and spoken technical level English
- Capability to work in a multinational, multicultural team
- Solution oriented attitude
