We actively collaborate with software companies, environmental consultants, and organizations like the European Space Agency (ESA) or the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA). Additionally, we actively participate in research projects with prestigious international institutions.
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Earth Observation Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in the realization of our contracts with the European Space Agency. This position involves a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution and management of projects in smart agriculture, urban analysis, and air pollution, ensuring alignment with ESA standards and objectives.
- Contribute to the preparation of Invitations to Tender (ITT) proposals for ESA, showcasing innovative solutions and methodologies.
- Analyze satellite data and geospatial information to derive actionable insights for various projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project strategies.
- Provide mentorship and manage a team of junior analysts, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality project deliverables.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in Earth observation technologies and data analysis techniques.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Remote Sensing, Geospatial Sciences, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Earth observation data analysis, preferably with exposure to ESA projects.
- Proficient in remote sensing software and tools (e.g., QGIS, ENVI).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
