Scope of work :
- The Senior Backend Engineer is a key member of our autonomous teams for designing and developing the backend of our applications.
- As Senior you will be a reliable tech Hero, The one on which others rely you'll enjoy helping people, solve problems, writing code samples, and to unblock situations.
- You will be able to understand all aspect of software development (customer requirements, product design, timeframe, tech-debt) and you will be a guide for our junior members.
Profile :
- You have a Bachelor or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical field, and ideally 2+ years of professional experience as an in-house backend developer.
- You are passionate about software development, concurrency mechanisms, and building small, intercommunicating services using REST, gRPC, and RabbitMQ.
- You want to work on a brand new platform integrating multiple services using technologies such as Golang, C++, Node.js.
- and you have a solid experience in one of them - or more ;).
- Git is your default version-control system (what else?).
- You have a good team spirit and communicate easily in an international and multicultural environment.
- You are fluent in English.
Your get bonus points if you have :
- Familiarity with REST architecture style and network programming.
- Knowledge of inter-process communication using a queue-messaging system (RabbitMQ).
- Experience with MongoDB, Docker, Redis, and CI.
- Experience with one or more of those technologies : TypeScript, RxJS, WebAssembly, Rust, Qt,
- Good understanding of what is functional and reactive programming.
- Experience with agile development.
