What's the role?
It’s an incredibly exciting time to join the Hilti Digital Platforms team! We are redesigning the future of digital at Hilti and are looking for team members to play an integral part in our digital transformation journey. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will work in a global, collaborative, fun, and agile work environment; you will participate in developing and maintaining back-end systems, as well as mentoring team members and setting standards.

What does the role involve?
As a Senior Developer in Release Management, you serve as a team expert in Hilti’s Hybris implementation across all scrum teams; emphasis on DevOps in Hybris, manage CI/CD process for scrum teams; Java programming, clean code principles, and testing culture. Including: diagnosing problems, getting around limitations, and creating efficiency and optimization to do things that will drive the platform’s capabilities. Actively participate in release processes by attending meetings and coordinating specific release activities across all teams.
The Strategic Marketing team, at our two locations in Boulogne-Billancourt, France and Texas, USA, consists of 200 team members in 15+ scrum teams working with the newest technologies to create a unique user experience for Hilti’s extraordinary products and services.

What you need is:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- Experience in DevOps (AWS & Kubernetes).
- Experience in Hybris “SAP Commerce” will be preferred.
- Experience in Java, Spring.
- Good communications skills in English.
- Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
