We are currently looking for a backend engineer to join our dynamic start up and help us build out the Infrastructure. We are looking for self-starters who are equally happy working as part of a dynamic team or alone when necessary.
Requirements
- Audio coding experience (desktop/back-end preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to independently research new areas and craft solutions
- Good C++ skills (preferably in more recent C++ standards)
- Fluency in at least one other language, and willingness to potentially switch context to Python/JS/...tasks in the future
- Interest and/or experience in music and musical performance
- Strong intuition for best-practices (in areas such as testing, code review etc)
- Communication skills, with both tech and non-tech people
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Strong team-working skills · Desirable:
- Familiarity with professional music tech (eg the VST plugin standard, Logic, Ableton)
- Professional audio/music experience (eg mixing / mastering)
- Experience with the JUCE library Good understanding of traditional algorithms (Genetic Algorithm, dynamic programming, etc.)
- Experience with gaming audio technology
