Job Description

• Be responsible for the end-2-end security of the Home Connect Plus platform from an engineering perspective
• Go hands-on: Architecture, code reviews and threat modelling regarding security issues of backend services, mobile apps, and third-party services and environments as required
• Execute black-box penetration and intrusion testing of our solution
• Planning, coordination, and support for all security-related topics
• Collaborate closely with development and operation teams
• Coordinate external agencies regarding product security

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or Similar
• Minimum 5+ years experience in information and software security incl. relevant standards and technologies
• Extensive knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and CWE Top 25
• Experience in exploiting cloud and web services security vulnerabilities including cross-site scripting, cross site request forgery, SQL injection, DoS attacks, XML/SOAP, API attacks, and more
• Tech Stack: Java, JavaScript, Spring, REST, WebSockets, misc. Internet Protocols, familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker regarded as plus
• Competencies: Very good communication skills (English and German); taking ownership; working in teams, having a hacker’s mindset
