    Sales Manager

    Apps Germany is a digital agency with a focus on the digitalisation of small to medium enterprises. The mission of the company is to help small to medium companies access to the highest quality consultancy services that would typically beyond their reach due to budgets restrictions. Working in collaboration with regional chambers of commerce and the public funding available, Apps Germany partners with its network of consultants to help to digitize its clients.

    Apps Germany is looking for an experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record of working with a digital agency, marketing or software sales. An experienced account manager with a consultancy background will also be ideal for this role.

    Your mission will be to:

    • Build and lead a new sales team in a mixed environment of both full-time and part-time sales agents.
    • Help to develop a professional sales environment with a focus on providing structured packages to clients
    • Provide industry expertise on sales within a digital agency or consultancy firm
    • Expand sales team to multiple offices in several regions across Germany

    About You: Experience

    You must have:

    • Sales experience with a 5 years’ experience (with proof of your sales abilities)
    • A network of strong relationships and an excellent reputation (starting in the NRW region)
    • Demonstrated experience generating leads and closing new business
    • An affinity for all things digital and familiarity with social media
    • Demonstrated advertiser direct relationships
    • Experience achieving group goals; and not be fazed by targets and metrics
    • Experience generating revenue against personal targets (and love smashing them!)

     

    About You: Skills

    You must be:

    • Able to spot opportunities, set up meetings with and present to key personnel such as company owners/directors, strategists/consultants, financial managers and other decision makers
    • Able to support the creative process as required, solicit briefs, write proposals, negotiate prices, and book new business
    • Able to grow relationships with small to medium size business in any industry
    • Can help to creatively write proposals suited to wide range of customer types

    • Gregarious: Enjoy being part of the media industry and building relationships will clients and agencies
    • Persuasive: Able to effectively communicate complex, creative solutions to agencies and clients who may be unfamiliar or uncomfortable with the space

     

    About You: Education & Qualifications – Any of the following would be enough

    • Honours-level degree or equivalent in Business or Information Technology
    • Certification in Business Management, Sales or Marketing
    • A track record of more than ten years as a successful sales agent with leadership experience
