WatchMyCompetitor (WMC) is a rapidly growing market intelligence platform. Our online service helps brands monitor their digital competitive landscape to ensure they stay ahead. WMC is based in London, but has a global customer base of leading brands across most industry sectors.
We are looking for a Sales Development Team Manager to provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the SDR team and ensure that they are equipped with the necessary skills, tools, and resources to be successful.
The Role
- Lead and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives: provide guidance, coaching, and support to the team to achieve sales goals and objectives.
- Implement and monitor sales processes, tools, and best practices: ensure that the team is using effective sales methodologies and technologies to generate leads and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of business opportunities: work with the SDR team to identify, qualify, and nurture prospects, and ensure that opportunities are passed to the sales team for closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to develop and execute sales and marketing initiatives.
- Conduct performance evaluations: evaluate the performance of the SDR team and provide feedback, coaching, and mentorship to ensure continuous improvement.
- Monitor sales performance: track key performance metrics and provide regular reporting on team performance, including pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue generated.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive intelligence: maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, emerging trends, and best practices in sales development.
What we’re looking for
- Extensive experience in sales development, with a proven track record of success in managing and leading sales teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to think creatively and implement innovative solutions to drive results.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies, such as SPIN selling, Challenger sales, and Solution selling.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks.
- Experience with sales enablement tools, such as sales engagement platforms and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

- Working from home Monday and Friday - in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
