The PULSE department of SPIE Building Solutions is a young, innovative department of 30 people within the larger SPIE organization.

PULSE's mission is to lead the transition to data-driven management and maintenance and thus get the maximum potential from buildings in the field of sustainability, comfort, maintenance and lifespan of assets.

To this end, our Specialists and Consultants work in the PULSE Core platform, with which data from buildings can be easily viewed and analyzed, to monitor performance 24/7 and optimize it where possible.

The PULSE department is continuously developing. See it as a startup that adapts to its environment to become increasingly successful in achieving the above objectives. Drive, customer focus, innovation and collaboration are important pillars here.

Not 'just a job'

As a Sales Consultant you are responsible for the entire process from lead to order. You listen carefully to the customer and apply consultative selling to understand the specific needs.

Further work:

  • Act as a linchpin between customer and internal departments to perfectly translate customer wishes;
  • Fully understand and oversee our software platform and services;
  • Actively seeking new customers and giving sales presentations;
  • Advising existing customers about the possibilities of PULSE Core;
  • Drawing up quotations in consultation with specialists to arrive at the best solution;
  • Actively participate in the growth and further professionalization of the team.

Not 'just an employee'

As a Sales Consultant at SPIE Building Solutions you are self-driven and have a great sense of responsibility.

In addition:

  • Do you have at least an HBO work/thinking level, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience;
  • Do you have a far-reaching interest in technology, the management and maintenance process and smart solutions in buildings;
  • Do you want to understand what we do and how you can best help our customers with this?
  • Do you have experience with acquisition, (consulting) sales conversations and can you understand the (latent) demand of the customer;
  • Do you know how to correctly translate customer needs into an offer in a quotation or tender?
  • Do you have strong communication skills and know how to build long-term relationships;
  • Are you enthusiastic about working with the latest technology and software applications;
  • Are you an enthusiastic team player and are you good at sharing your knowledge?
