Research Assistant, Research Technician AgriTech
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Assistant to join an Oxfordshire based AgriTech company.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Research Technician to take the next step in their career, working alongside a highly-skilled team of Scientists at the forefront of chemical research in to Herbicides.
This is varied position and the successful Research Assistant / Research Technician, will perform various biological experiments including but not limited to, DNA / RNA extraction of plant cells and generating new plant lines.

This Oxford University spin-out company are already making waves in the AgriTech industry and with an enormous amount of financial backing are set to expand rapidly over the next 12 months!
What’s required of the Research Assistant?
- A degree in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Biology or Plant Sciences
- Previous experience working within laboratory environment
- Experience with molecular biology techniques
- Ideally experience with plant models
- Passionate about sustainability and an interest in Agronomy, would really set your application apart!
