The center will increase the company's capacity for technological and scientific innovation necessary to meet its strategic objectives (decarbonization, digitalization), while generating profitability and ensuring a high visibility on the Group's commitment to industry's energy transition.

It will rely on strategic industrial and academic partners experts in the port industry (universities, laboratories, companies, startups, shipyards, etc.).

THE ROLE:

Being include in the R&D team, your mission will be to implement the digital platforms in the Container Terminals, create the tools to optimize the terminal processes, maintenance and decision making through digitalization, process automation and new technologies in connection with but not limited to operations , safety, maintenance, IT and management teams in the aim of improving terminal operational, energetic and cost efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

During this mission you will oversee:

  • Container terminal data standardization through TIC 4.0 standards
  • Digital data schema
  • IoT-BigData design, develop and implementation, including PLC&CanBus signals
  • Edge computing algorithms
  • Data-Fusion algorithms: IoT, TOS, Gate, MMS, ERP
  • CHE automation adoption
  • New digital tools integration: positioning, OCR, augmented reality, cybersecurity biosensors
  • Project Management of the R&D Digitalization Terminals projects

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduated degree in IT or industrial engineering, with Terminal IT and operations experience and preferably project management experience.
  • Knowledge required:
  • Container Terminal operations.
  • IT-Network
  • IoT Devices, Communication and Schema
  • PLC Automation Analysis and Basic Programming
  • TOS Knowledge as user and Administrator (Navis, Catos, Cyber ​​Logitec)
  • Excel

Knowledge appreciated:

  • Engineering background (physics, energy).
  • Linux and / or Windows
  • IT tools: Elasticsearch / Kibana / Kafka / Nodered / Javascript / SQL and NoSQL querying (SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Elastic)
  • ELK Schema usage and basic configuration
  • Lean Six Sigma for developing projects
  • Data Analysis (R, Python, Minitab, SPSS)
  • MQTT
  • SW&HW Analyst for developers
  • Business Process Modeling
  • Postman, Swagger, SoapUI or other API testing Tools

Working language is English, being French Speaker is a plus.

This position could require up to 30% of time traveling.
