PagoNxt is looking for a QA ENGINEER

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a QA Engineer, you will, collaboratively with other roles, design, develop, maintain and enhance highly available and secure payment systems.
Your positive can-do character influences our engineering culture.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts :
- Defining and documenting test cases and strategies
- Designing, implementing, automating and executing tests of different types such as regression, performance and usability tests.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS
EXPERIENCE
Experience as Quality Engineer / Software Tester with very good knowledge in the area of Quality Assurance
EDUCATION
- A degree in IT or Computer Science
- Desired ISTQB Certification
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Proven understanding of the full Agile Software Development and Testing Lifecycles
- Knowledge of OOP concepts and hands-on experience with Java development
- Strong test automation experience on Java and ideally also JavaScript applications
- Good knowledge of test automation frameworks, tools and libraries e.g. JUnit, SoapUI, Jmeter, Selenium, TestNG or similar
- Experience in testing batch and back-end applications
- API testing experience such as REST, Web Services etc.
- SQL knowledge
- Comfortable in a Linux environment and experience with technologies and tools such as Git, Gitlab, Jenkins, Puppet
- Critical thinking and attention to details
- Pro-active attitude and self-learning abilities
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
Nice to have :
- Knowledge of Design Principles or Design Patterns is a plus
- Familiar with the Financial Services industry and electronic payment systems is a plus
