Valeo Siemens eAutomotive is a fast-growing integrated Start-Up supported by two large, solid groups with international reach: VALEO and SIEMENS. You will join the Research and Development team at our site in Cergy, just a stone's throw from the RER station, at the heart of innovation and the automotive industry of tomorrow. Under the responsibility of the Software Department Manager, you will join a dynamic team to support innovation.

Your challenges?

Drives Supplier Integration into Projects to optimize QCDI and non-recurring costs

Ensures Segment Strategy compliance along with Sourcing Process in all Business awards

Responsibilities:

Support Project Manager in Preparation of Sourcing Plan to define mutual PTM commitments and conditions to proceed with Pre-SoCo (RFQ), SoCo (Award) and SOP at required QCD conditions.

Select supplier bid-list based on Compliant Segment Panel and liaise with Project and Segment organizations to identify Bundle opportunities.

Co-ordinate S-VRF definition and plan Supplier Design reviews to:

- ensure Supplier full understanding,

- capture improvement proposals,

- obtain Supplier acceptance of Valeo Requirements,

- enhance competition at the equivalent scope

- Perform RFQ Process via PuMa & Auction (Live or Online)

- Manage achievement of all project milestones related to suppliers

- Pilot and forecast the project-purchasing index and lead the productivity action plan (VP & PTBV) to reach CAA Targets.

Propose and validate with commodity organization pre-sourcing target suppliers

Manage all contractual aspects to protect Valeo intellectual property and segment panel

Let's talk about you...

Education: Master of Engineering in Electronics required + additional master in Purchasing or general business management

10 years experience in similar related activities in the automotive business. Experience in complex automotive Electronic systems is required.

Proven track of record in cost reduction programs during the early development phase

Knowledge of the automotive supply base, sourcing strategies, and processes.

Business English fluent, German language a plus

Ability to work in a multicultural environment and with multiple development sites

Travel: Ability to travel 30% of the time, mostly in Europe
