The Production Trainee will assist in operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure efficient manufacturing of battery products. They will help maintain high-quality standards, follow safety protocols, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Production Operations
- Assist in operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
- Help assemble components and battery products following production guidelines.
- Support in conducting tests and inspections to verify product functionality and adherence to quality standards.
- Quality Control & Maintenance
- Aid in performing routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Assist in conducting quality checks on products to ensure compliance with established specifications.
- Help identify and troubleshoot issues in the production process to maintain product quality.
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly to ensure workplace safety.
- Adhere to proper handling procedures for high-voltage (HV) and sensitive components.
- Process Improvement & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of production activities, quality control checks, and equipment maintenance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to supervisors on potential process optimizations.
- Approach to process / manufacturing engineering (FMEAS, Control Plan, 5 S, Ishikawa).
Minimum qualifications, skills and experience:
- Currently studying a degree in Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar.
- Understanding of electrical, high voltage, and/or battery design requirements.
- Communication skills and a proactive attitude in a high-pressure environment to ensure the job gets done as requested.
