Tasks and responsibilities

YOUR ROLE:

  • As a PMO Manager / Program Manager within CEVA Logistics, you are responsible for setting up a project management organization (PMO) and improving the quality of (improvement) project implementation and results.
  • You know how to disseminate your knowledge, experience and skills in the field of PMO within our sphere in an inspiring and motivating way. locations.
  • You work closely with various teams all over the world. across locations, to increase the impact and quality of project implementation using the same methodology and systems.
  • You are the bridge between the project leaders, management, operations and the customer. Through intensive cooperation between the different spheres. locations (Waalwijk, Nijmegen and Nieuwegein), you translate this into the projects. With sharp questions and feedback, you then challenge your team to continuously monitor project progress.
  • Your own team consists of five enthusiastic and eager to learn Business Process Improvement Project Leaders.
  • You coach and guide this team in terms of their knowledge and skills to achieve the greatest possible impact together.

In addition, you organize the organization in such a way that there is clear insight into the progress and quality of the improvement projects and the results.

From your experience, you know what it takes to set up a professional project management organization, and how to create involvement within your own team, but also the rest of the world.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Ensuring a well-organized PMO organization;
  • Implementing the necessary process improvements within your own department to achieve greater impact faster;
  • Further developing the strategy of the department and increasing the quality and impact of your team members within the organization;
  • Drawing up the strategy in coordination with colleagues from other areas within the Benelux BPE organization;
  • Further development of the Zero Defect Start-Up project management methodology (based on Prince II);
  • Manage, coach, assess and develop your team members;
  • Advising management where there is potential for improvement within the organization and what needs to be done to realize this.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • You have strong communication skills, are independent and have a project management certificate (e.g. Prince II or IPMA-D);
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar managerial position within a dynamic logistics operation;
  • You have experience with project management and process improvements and are able to make long-term plans;
  • You are independent, analytical, driven, dynamic and have the right discipline to follow schedules;
  • You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
