Platform Engineer (Senior & Principal)

A very well-funded AI start-up, with presence across Europe, US and the Middle East, is looking for a Senior and a Principal Platform Engineer.

Having just raised one of the largest Series A funding rounds in the sector, they are looking to grow rapidly, building multiple new product development teams (circa 30 new hires across Data & Engineering).

Salaries (the more you ask for, the more you'll have to impress them) :

• Principal : £100-150k
• Senior : £75-120k

Location : Old Street (3-4 office days / week)

Must have requirements :

• Being able to write high quality, production-grade code - ideally in Go, Java or Python
• Extensive cloud experience (ideally in AWS)
• Strong expertise in Docker / Kubernetes and Terraform
• Experience with CI / CD tools and integrating data-centric workflows
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Loki, Grafana) in data-intensive environments
• Great written and verbal communication skills

Bonus points for :

• Experience with scalable deployment of data processing and ML models (batch as well as real-time)
• Experience in developing and maintaining ML systems with tools such as MLflow, BentoML, and Evidently AI.
• Exposure to PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Data orchestration experience with Airflow or Prefect
• Experience automating data processing tasks
• Having worked in a rapidly growing, product-focused start-up
