The Role :
- We are seeking a skilled Platform Developer to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of ServiceNow custom applications, along with ensuring the smooth operation of our CPA service software.
- This role requires adherence to ACOE good practice guidelines and an active role in enhancing these guidelines.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create and maintain custom applications on the ServiceNow platform to meet user needs and ACOE service requirements.
- Develop software solutions to cater to the specific needs of CPA services.
- Follow established ACOE good practice guidelines and contribute to their continuous improvement.
- Write clean, secure, and well-tested code.
- Coach and mentor junior developers to enhance team capability and performance.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues in the production environment.
- Assist in resolving operational issues effectively.
- Oversee the maintenance of the ServiceNow Self-Hosted Platform, including monitoring and capacity management.
- Ensure snapshots, backups, and clonebacks are completed appropriately.
- Schedule and communicate necessary platform upgrades.
- Design and implement application uptime schedules to achieve cost optimization goals.
Requirements :
- Demonstrated experience in developing custom applications on ServiceNow.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Linux OS and related scripting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a production environment.
- Ability to mentor and coach junior colleagues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to schedule and manage upgrades and maintenance activities.
