Native Norwegian Speakers for Voice Data Collection Project

We are working on the improvement of speech recognition technology and we are looking for native speakers of Norwegian who would like to participate in this project.

Requirements:

• Be a native speaker of Norwegian (18+ years old).
• Have an Android device (phone/tablet) or a Windows/Mac computer - recording app does not work on iOs devices.
• Have good internet connection.
• Record at the comfort of your home in a quiet environment.
• You can participate in this project once only. Please do not register your interest again if you have already done this task.

Task Description:

• Record 1000 short Norwegian prompts on an online recording app.
• Duration: Approximately 2.5 hours to complete the whole task. You can choose to record the prompts in several separate sessions or complete them all in one session.
• Payment: USD 48> Upon completion and after your recordings have passed quality control. Payment is made via your Appen Connect payment account.
