Mulesoft Architect

• Collaborate with architects, product management and engineering teams to create solutions that increase the product security and value
• Build cloud services on the AWS cloud which provides very high security, reliability and availability to our customers and their assets
• Help develop and implement improved cyber security tools, techniques, and procedures.
• Develop rigorous "best practice" recommendations to improve security through the SDLC.
• Design security-related functionality and verify proper implementation of new features
• Create technical specifications, prototypes and presentations to communicate your ideas
• Lead and participate in production deployment activities of your features
• Maintain awareness of up-to-date threat and vulnerability profiles pertaining to application development
• Evaluate new technologies, and help incorporate them into the technology stack
• Play an integral part in driving our product forward, shaping it and scaling it up – designing and executing solutions, improving performance, scalability, and robustness
• Analyzing data sets to perform risk assessments
• Develop tooling and security controls to mitigate risks
• Support design reviews for developer tools to ensure that security objectives are met

• B.S. or above degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 7+ years of experience in delivering high quality software using Java/C++
• AWS Certified Security Specialty
• Experience in the prevention and remediation of security vulnerabilities for a consumer-facing application running on AWS;
• Familiarity with GDPR and CCPA.
• Familiarity with AWS security monitoring tools (CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Kinesis);
• Experience in delivering a SaaS application
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with Automated Deployment and Integration, techniques, tools, and processes
• AWS, and / or Azure, Google cloud, Cloud deployment and containerization experience
• Fearlessness diving into complex problems and other-people’s code
• Independent, highly-motivated self-learner and a fast learner including new tools and technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
