Mobile React Native Engineer – Antwerp, Belgium (M/F)
CHALLENGE
Our client is a data science company turning IOT sensor data into rich insights about people’s behavior and real-time context.
As Mobile React Native Engineer, the candidate will work aside a SDK Team while having a contribution to the quality of the output in a high growth working environment. With the purpose of providing a good interface and a high quality user experience while gathering data about the user itself.
- Improving the SDK integration experience with third party developers, as well the company’s tools to upgrade its data treatment;
- Work with data engineers, scientists and designers;
- Working with public and private API’s.
PROFILE
- Computer Science degree (BSc or MCs) or related field, with 2 years of working experience and fluent in English (mandatory);
- Strong frontend and backend knowledge of JavaScript (ES6);
- Minimum of 1 year experience with React Native;
- Experience with various testing patterns;
- Knowledge of Objective C, Java and RESTful services (ideally, Node.js).
BONUS SKILLS
- Ability to create a bridge between the Native language and JavaScript code;
- Work experience with SQL, NoSQL and Docker containers;
- Ability to use data visualization tools (namely, d3.js);
- Notions of functional programming;
- Fluency in Chinese.
