Description
Swancy is looking for a front-end developer to join the founding team and work closely with the back-end developer on identifying and developing new features. The MVP stack is JavaScript, Angular, Sass, Apache Cordova, for both Android and iOS. We also have a website based on php and Joomla, so knowledge of these is beneficial. Since we are in the early stages, we are open to experimenting with new frameworks and technologies.
The front-end developer’s responsibilities will be:
Aid in the product development by providing front-end knowledge and insights with a pragmatic approach
Develop new features and fix bugs in both the Angular and Cordova apps
Oversee, manage and innovate the team’s front-end tech stack
Keep the app updated and make sure it runs on the supported platforms at all times.
Swancy is an early-stage startup looking to raise its first round of investments in the coming months so we are looking for a stake partner to come on board. The role of the front-end developer will be pivotal to achieve a product-market fit level, which is needed to raise funds.
As a consequence, the successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset and be highly motivated and proactive. The Swancy team members work remotely, so we are looking for someone who is reliable and able to communicate effectively. Given the early stage of the company and the partner-level role, the right candidate will believe in Swancy’s vision and mission and will be willing to go above and beyond to achieve them.
