Mindset
We are looking for a full time Mechanical Engineer (m/f) who wants to be a crucial part of the designing and testing of our newest product. You already designed a product from scratch? You have the hands-on approach, you can challenge your own ideas and you get shit done? Then feel free to apply!

RESPONSIBILITIES

» Mechanical product design of our product “Mark”
» Setup of mechanical engineering software tools and development practices and processes
» Integration of electronic components, such as display assemblies, batteries and antennas into a rugged wearable device.
» Bringing electro-mechanical and electro-textile products from idea to high-volume production
» Manufacturing tool design for assembly, injection molding and textiles
» Production validation and ramp up of these products and tools

BASIC QUALIFICATION

» Work experience or equivalent skill set that touches some of these fields:
» Technical degree in product design, mechanical engineering or similar
» 2+ years experience in successfully bringing mobile or other electro-mechanical products to high volume production
» Expertise in the development and integration of electro-mechanical components, such as display assemblies, batteries, and antennas
» Strong skill set with CAD tools such as Solidworks or similar
» Experience working with suppliers and ODM/CM partners, specifically designing and ramping volume parts and assemblies
» Preferably expertise in the areas of: Tolerance Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Design of Experiments, FEA, Thermal Design, DFMEA, DFA
» Experience in design for impact resistance and heavy-duty is a plus
» Business fluent in English, German a nice to have
