    Position

    We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing and Press Manager to help us lead our overall Marketing, Event and PR efforts. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets like brand awareness, product promotion, lead generation, etc. You will organize our activities and have an influence on the marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who also loves the nitty-gritty and getting things done!

    Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels. You will be leading the following activities: traditional marketing, online marketing (Social Media, SEM, SEO, website management, email marketing), event management (trade fairs, industry events, accelerators, awards, speaking opportunities), public relations (writing press releases, pitching stories, managing articles for industry relevant publications, creating and managing long term press relationships), design (presentations, website graphics, social media graphics, presentations, other marketing collateral), photography & video. A day is never dull in this role! Freedom is provided in this role but you must be a go-getter, someone who thrives in the comfort of their own shoes.

     

    Must Haves Skills:

    - English working proficiency (spoken and written)

    - German extended basic knowledge (but commitment to improve to working proficiency)

    - “Hands on” mentality

    - SEO,SEM extended knowledge

    - Understand and update webpages in wordpress to help generate leads

    - Organizational and time management skills (events, marketing campaigns, trade fairs etc.)

    - Ability to work under extended periods of pressure

    - People skills (develop relationships with journalists, partners, etc.)

    - Understand and manage social media presence (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, etc.)

    Important:

    - Formatting, layout and some general design skills (e.g. PPT, Word, Inkscape, GIMP)

    - Past experience with newsletters and email campaigns

    - Organize events and tradefairs – everything from initial application to booth setup

    - Comfortable with press work (writing press releases and articles, being the go to contact for press inquiries, acquisition of press contacts and achieve publication)

    Nice to have:

    - Experience with photography and video editing

    - Knowledge of the Craft Beer industry

    - A Craft Beer lover

    - Any other language
