The end users of their system span a variety of interesting sectors and this role represents a great opportunity for someone to join an established team achieving real time growth.
About the Role
To support this, they are looking for an ambitious Machine Learning Engineer with solid experience in AI. The company will be scaling up extensively and moving towards edge environments using edge AI low power, high performance hardware solutions.
Roles Responsibilities:
- Define and implement an AI solution for image recognition.
- Take the role of expert in a small team of bright dedicated developers.
- Operate across AI Model development, deployment and integration in both cloud and edge environments
- Ensure the solution is cost effective for customers and deliver projects to agreed timescales
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential:
- Experience developing image recognition solutions using Convolutional Neural Networks
- Ideal experience is with TensorFlow for model development.
- Experience with Python
- Multithreaded C++ / C for edge deployment and integration Desirable
- Designing and implementing models in the Cloud, preferably using AWS Sagemaker
- Experience with edge based AI hardware such as Google Coral TPU or Hailo device or similar
- Linux
- API development in Node JS would be a bonus.
