    About Merantix Solutions
    MX Solutions is a project unit for diverse deep learning topics across industries. We are helping clients to leverage deep learning technology for their core products and business processes to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage. We have worked on various topics such as process manufacturing, government security, credit scoring, artificial creativity in marketing and many more. Our clients benefit from our support along the whole process chain of AI implementation, starting with defining their AI strategy and use case to designing and implementing neural networks in their architecture. Since Merantix Solutions has a tremendous inbound lead channel for projects we tend to choose only those that are most critical for our clients as well as challenging for our engineers and scientists.

    Merantix is looking for Machine Intelligence Engineers to join our Merantix Solutions team and help us develop impactful applied machine learning solutions for top-tier clients across a range of exciting industries and functions. Typical responsibilities include:

    • Researching and designing state-of-the-art deep learning models for customer specific problems

    • Prototyping, testing, and evaluation of these models

    • Building terabyte-scale data pipelines

    Qualifications

    Basic qualifications:

    • BA/BS in computer science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

    • Exceptional competence in 2 of the following and a demonstrated interest in the other: Applied machine learning, software engineering, and product development

    • Excellent technical and analytical problem-solving skills

    • Strong experience developing enterprise solutions or data products

    • Strong communication skills, thriving in small engineering teams to produce tailored, client-centric solutions

    Preferred qualifications:

    • MS or Ph.D. in computer science, machine learning, or related technical field

    • Background in deep learning, computer vision, NLP, or related

    • Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Google Cloud Platform, TensorFlow, Apache Beam, Google Cloud ML, or Docker

    • Industry experience working with machine learning frameworks, large-scale data processing systems, or cloud infrastructure

    • Previous work in engineering consulting / freelancing or  implementation projects of applied machine learning solutions for top-tier clients
