Job Details Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Legal Manager to join a fantastic consultancy on a permanent basis located either in Barcelona or Paris. Our client is focused on facilitating novelty and affecting the care of patients. Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.
Key Responsibilities: For this position, you will
- Draft, analyse, handle and finalise a variety of contracts needing expertise in the healthcare division, which may involve, NDA's, MSA's, Clinical Trial Agreements, SaaS Agreements, Service Level Agreements, Partner Agreements, Independent Contractor Agreements and Vendor Agreements.
- Offer leadership on acceptable contract language.
- Assist with the SVP legal and compliance in developing, upholding, revising and executing standard templates, forms, and procedures for improvement and scalability purposes.
- Contribute to setting police and process on contract management.
- Offer legal advice on any data privacy concerns linked to GDPR compliance while collaborating with the DPO and handle data privacy, security, and any other service and product-connected problems from a legal aspect.
- Acknowledge compliance and regulatory issues.
- You will assist and cooperate with any other divisions to handle compliance problems for investigation, examination, and resolution rendering to the SVP legal affairs.
- The ideal candidate will advise business teams on suitable laws and guidelines, which involves GDPR and any other major data privacy guidelines.
- Cooperate with QA team to guarantee policy compliance with data privacy guidelines in pertinent jurisdictions, calling in outside counsel or support when needed.
- Any other assigned duties.
Requirements:
- Educated to a degree level in a legal field with at least 5 years of experience within a healthcare and/or start-up organisation.
- Familiarity within a dynamic, multifaceted international business setting.
- Acquaintance in clinical trial agreement.
- Knowledge in data privacy.
- Expertise on law such as corporate, commercial, labour, etc.
- Past involvement in drafting, evaluating, deliberating commercial agreements.
- Able to think analytically with the ability to make decisions with a balanced approach to risk mitigation.
- Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- A flexible individual.
- Fluency in the English language with knowledge in French and/or Spanish would be beneficial.
