Sonepar Headquarters, counting 150 associates across Paris and Geneva, manages all the governance related activities and is working on the following missions: Sovereign activities: Group strategy development and follow up, consolidation and publication of financial states, brand promotion and protection, management of Executives and Group values, representation of the Group in regard to its stakeholders.
Risk management and control Management of shareholders As part of the Talent & Learning team, coordinate all the training activities, mainly the Sonepar's development programmes, the Sonepar Junior Committee and the Sonepar Leadership Program.
- Maintain program data and tools to train staff and others.
- Liaise with departments to manage and assign training programs.
- Plan and coordinate proper venues, timing, and modality.
- Make recommendations to training agenda or curriculum, as necessary.
- Oversee and take part in the development of training materials,
- Maintain attendance logs, incident reports, and other necessary records.
- Serve as a thought leader, mentor and coach on continuous improvement tools.
- Support other teams with projects as directed.
- Manage staffing needs and ensure ratios are to effective operational performance.
- Act as a change agent to drive continuous improvement throughout.
- Manage the setup and start-up training operations if needed.
- Compile and analyse data to help with budget preparation and training priorities.
- Track metrics daily to ensure that all departments are running effectively.
Specifically, for the two major Group programmes: Sonepar Junior Committee As part of the SJC, the Learning Coordinator ensures the link between all stakeholders by keeping close contact with SJC members, Supporters and HR and by supplying regular communication and guidelines.

- Coordinating the Talent Review for SJC members Management of the entire project
Throughout the programme: Building and supporting a monitoring framework with the various groups and stakeholders (regular group and one-to-one communication, guidelines for the major stages of the programme, drafting and publishing the SJC brochure, newsletters, etc.).
Preparing and monitoring kick-off meetings and the SJC Week Event, combining the welcoming of a new cohort and the organisation of the SJC feedback sessions at the end of the programme (including liaising with an events and communications agency). - Proposing, organising and checking development actions (Coaching, intercultural training, insights, etc.)
Sonepar Leadership Program As part of the SLP, the Learning Coordinator works with the training institute (such as INSEAD, IMD or other) to ensure that the programme is delivered and meets Sonepar's expectations in terms of teaching content. Working closely with HR regions/countries, coordinate the participant nomination process. Ensure that the choice of training institute and teaching content meet Sonepar's expectations and are in line with the Group's strategy.
Maintain close collaboration with the chosen training institute in the execution of the programme Support the participants throughout the programme and particularly in the feedback/exchange with General Management at the end of the programme. Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in business, communication, or education. Experience with LMS, SAP Success Factors, and Microsoft office (Word, PPT, Excel, Sway) Demonstrated leadership skills and attention to detail. A problem solver and critical thinker dedicated to continuous improvement. Prior experience in a consulting position or in a training centre Able to collaborate and lead with decision making. Sound time management skills.
