Doing Good is in our nature, but often barriers limit our good intentions. That's why The Social Handshake makes doing good easy.
We are a fintech startup that provides Payroll Giving, Emergency Giving for Ukraine, and Christmas Giving to 40+ clients like HPE, BUX and Bain & Co, and will soon add Holiday Giving to our online platform.
Payroll Giving is one of the easiest and most effective ways to help solve problems like poverty and climate change.
With 1000+ users we contributed 100K+ to charities like Unicef or Just Diggit, and we only just got started. When you join The Social Handshake you will not only be lead software engineer in our fast growing startup but, also contribute to a more sustainable and just world, daily.
We assume this:
- You are a (back-end focused) software engineer who is also capable of doing front-end, and wants to lead our scalable platform to the next phase of growth to serve 100+K users.
- Familiar with Java and JavaScript in a full stack environment (3+ years' experience)
- Familiar with creating and consuming APIs
- familiar with Google Cloud
- Preferred experience with startups / scaleups
- Available at least 4 days a week
- Able to travel to Amsterdam 1 day a week
About our stack
LoonGift is currently built on the Google Cloud, with Java as its back-end and React / Typescript as its front-end. This does not necessarily have to stay this way in the future.
Now that our standalone MVP has been a success, we are starting to integrate with different payroll and benefit platforms out there.
Terms of employment:
- The monthly compensation is 5000 to 7500 euros gross monthly
- Employees have the right to 28 paid holiday days
