As the Lead Developer you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of their product offering.
Your primary responsibility will be to design the architecture for their SaaS application, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Additionally, you will lead and manage a hybrid team of both internal and contract developers. You will need be passionate about driving innovation and growth in a start-up environment.
What will you be doing?
- Lead the design and development of the architecture for the SaaS application, considering scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Manage a hybrid team of internal and contract developers, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Be an integral part of the start-up's growth journey by contributing to strategic decisions and product roadmap planning.
- Identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement of their product offering to meet market demands.
- Lead by example by actively participating in the development and implementation of features and functionalities.
- Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance their product offering.
What key skills will you bring to the team?
- Strong communications skills, confident and comfortable communicating complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Able to balance being part of and leading a team, lead by example
- Flexible and adaptive, comfortable working in an agile environment
- Proven experience (5 years) in designing architecture for SaaS applications, with a strong understanding of cloud-based technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing and leading technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, and familiarity with relevant frameworks and tools.
