This company is globally recognised for setting new product design and performance standards. You will be focused on achieving territory sales target through instrument (microscopy) sales, developing, and managing relationships with customers, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Up to £40,000 basic
+ subsistence (£1,260) and car allowances (£7,700)
On-target commission £10,000 - 20,000 per annum
Field-Based
The Key Account Manager will be:
Delivering the sales plan and net sales budgets and targets, maximising sales performance
Carrying out instrument (microscopy) demonstrations to customers to support sales
Creating, delivering, and executing territory and customer sales strategies
Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships, whilst ensuring successful delivery of solutions and resolving problems
Taking ownership of existing territory accounts whilst creating new business and growth strategies
Updating and maintaining opportunities within CRM system
Producing accurate quotations and signing off and managing pricing
The Key Account Manager will have:
MSc or PhD in Biosciences/Biophysics or related subject
Understanding of laboratory environment, microscopy industry & live-cell imaging biological applications
At least 1-2 years’ experience working with advanced light microscopy systems, e.g. confocal, super-resolution, high content and multiphoton systems
Awareness of the UK science capital equipment market
Understanding of the research customer environment & landscape of Yorkshire and the Midlands
Proven ability to deliver sales targets and to deliver outstanding customer service
Ideally located Leeds, York or Sheffield
