Your Role

As a Junior Software Developer within our agency team in Zurich you will be working on digitalisation projects and...

• Building and maintaining microsites for various international clients in the finance and logistics industries
• Working in a cross-functional team with clients, business engineers, designers and software developers to build innovative solutions on the front and backend
• Collaborating and communicating with other team members and external stakeholders
• Estimation of effort for tasks and tickets with Jira project management tool

Skills

• Recently completed an apprenticeship (EFZ) or bachelors degree in IT, software development or computer science
• 1-2 years of practical experience with PHP (Symfony Framework)
• You are comfortable coding in SQL, HTML, CSS/SCSS, Javascript and jQuery
• Bonus points: practical experience working with Linux-Servers, Docker, Vue.JS, Contao CMS, Git, Doctrine, Nginx
• You are a team player with experience working in cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills in English and German
• Experience working in a startup environment is a plus
• You have a Swiss or EU passport (or other permit that allows you to work in Switzerland)
