Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is looking for an Engineer with a Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, who will be included in the Automation and Electrical team of the Life Sciences & Pharmaceuticals group.
Your initial duties, supported by a Tutor, will be:
- Understand Client's technical requirements.
- Develop electrical system studies, specifications, calculations and datasheets.
- Develop the design documentation for the Building Automation & Low Current Systems (e.g. HVAC controls, Fire&Gas Systems, access controls, data networks and so on)
- Support the technical and economical evaluation of Electrical and Building Automation Suppliers' bids.
- Monitor the progress of the Suppliers and check their design.
- Take part in the Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT's) at Suppliers' premises.
- Follow up Electrical & Building Automation construction and start-up activities at Client's site.
Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Fluent English
- Fluent in Italian
- Good German possibly
- Strong attitude to team working
- Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive
- Available to assignments at Client's site or in other Life Sciences offices (Basel, Philadelphia, Melbourne)
