Description
MagnoTherm Solutions is an emerging university spin-off from TU Darmstadt with world leading expertise in permanent
magnets and magnetic cooling. We are developing a new solid state cooling technology based on the magnetocaloric effect
which is capable of replacing standard gas compression cooling in compliance with current and future F-gas regulation
standards.
Our team currently consists of two scientists and an economical expert and is part of the Functional Materials group at TU Darmstadt.
We are now looking for a highly skilled and motivated engineer with expertise in the following fields:
Necessary skills:
- Knowledge and experience in the construction and design of technical equipment
- Experience in technical drawings and computer aided design
- Hands on mentality with ingeniosity and inventive spirit
- Ability to work in an international team
Additionally following skills are welcome:
- Knowledge of electronics and programming
- Knowledge of technical thermodynamics, especially heat transfer
- Knowledge of fluid handling, pumps and valves
- Driving license
